Cozy maple-cinnamon popcorn cups

Make it, step by step
- Place the popcorn in a large bowl with enough room to toss. Remove all hard, unpopped kernels.
- Melt the butter in a small microwave-safe bowl in short bursts. Stir in the maple syrup, cinnamon and optional salt until evenly mixed.
- Drizzle half the mixture over the popcorn while tossing with two large spoons. Add the remainder gradually and toss again. A thin coating keeps the popcorn lighter.
- Divide between six food-safe paper cups and serve promptly. The maple mixture softens popcorn over time; mix it shortly before guests eat.
Ingredients & serving notes
Contains milk. Popcorn is a choking hazard for young children; choose a different snack for toddlers.
Keeping it lovely
Best made and served immediately for texture. Store uncoated popcorn separately and only dress the amount you plan to serve.
For perishable food, use the USDA food-handling guidance. Times and results vary with ingredients and equipment.
Serve in plain food-safe cups with a handmade paper band on the outside. Keep glue, ink and loose decorations away from the rim and snack.
