Bows, cocoa & a handmade gift night
A cozy gift-wrap and tag-making gathering with peppermint bark, snowman cookies and an easy swap table.

Invite everyone to bring one thing
Ask each guest to bring one small gift to wrap, plus any spare ribbon they are happy to share. Supply plain paper, scissors, tape and pens yourself. This keeps the night useful even for someone arriving with no craft supplies.
Create three little stations
Set a wrapping corner with paper and tape, a tag corner with precut shapes and pens, and a food-and-drink table away from both. Offer warm cocoa and a non-dairy or non-cocoa option that suits your guests, with clearly labeled ingredients.
A calm order of events
Start with 15 minutes of snacks, then 30 minutes wrapping and 20 minutes tag making. Leave 10 minutes for a finished-gift photo and the remaining time for chatting and cleanup. Hot drinks stay on a stable surface, away from children and the paper pile.
One shared collection
Choose cherry red, blush and cream. A mismatched ribbon can still belong when you repeat one tag shape. Let guests write the meaningful part themselves: who the gift is for and why they chose it.
Send home what is useful
Make a swap bowl of leftover ribbon, blank tags and clean paper. Offer spare cookies in food-safe packaging only after checking allergies. Label homemade treats with ingredients and the date made.
The most useful favor is three spare tags for the gifts you forgot to wrap.
