Thanksgiving · No machine
A tiny book of family recipes
Collect a few favorite food stories in a small ribbon-bound keepsake.

STARTER GUIDE · AWAITING MAKER TESTING
Let’s make something lovely.
- 01
Cut matching cover and page rectangles. Stack them and choose a left edge for the binding.
- 02
Mark two holes on that edge, about half an inch inward and one inch from the top and bottom. Punch the first cover and use it to mark the other pieces.
- 03
Reserve the first page for a title, the year and the person collecting the stories. Leave room for writing near the binding.
- 04
Give each recipe a page or facing pair: name, contributor, ingredients, method and a short memory. Ask the contributor to check the instructions.
- 05
Stack the completed pages between the covers. Thread a separate ribbon through each hole and tie loosely enough that the pages turn.
- 06
Open the book flat enough to read without pulling the holes. Loosen the bows if needed and make a copy of the pages before gifting the original.
Collect the recipes before decorating the cover so you know how many pages the book needs.
Make it personal
Add a small handwritten note from each contributor rather than inventing a family story.
Ask AI to organize a recipe you supply into consistent headings without changing quantities, methods or attributing memories to people.

Check your equipment and material instructions, verify template dimensions, and make a sample before a batch.
