Little pockets of gratitude
A paper-pocket garland for the little things worth remembering.

STARTER GUIDE · AWAITING MAKER TESTING
Let’s make something lovely.
- 01
Place a rectangle portrait-style and fold the bottom two inches upward to create a shallow pocket.
- 02
Apply a narrow line of paper glue to the two side edges of the folded section. Leave the top open and let the glue dry.
- 03
Check that one note card slides in and out easily. Adjust the card width before cutting the other five.
- 04
Repeat to make six pockets. Add a number, leaf drawing or a short heading to the front of each.
- 05
Clip the backs of the pockets to twine so the openings remain clear. Hang where they will not touch candles or heating sources.
- 06
Invite guests to write a small thing they appreciate and tuck it inside. Sharing aloud is optional.
Use lightweight notes so the pockets hang neatly.
Make it personal
Mix family handwriting with a repeating paper palette.
Draft six warm, optional gratitude prompts that welcome guests with different family experiences.
