Treat boxes with a sweet little twist

Let’s make something lovely.

   Start with ready-made favor boxes, approximately 2–3 inches wide. Fold one according to its supplied instructions.

   Sketch a simple ghost on white cardstock: a rounded top with three broad curves along the bottom. Make it smaller than the box front.

   Cut the shape and add a face with a pen. Make a paper sample first so you can check the proportions.

   Glue the decoration to the outside of the box, keeping it clear of the opening and tabs.

   Allow the glue to dry. Add individually wrapped treats and close the box. Keep paper and adhesive away from unwrapped food.

Make it personal

Use a different expression on each ghost and handwrite your guests’ names.
