Pumpkin-party paper rosettes
Accordion-folded fans in peach and plum for a handmade party backdrop.

STARTER GUIDE · AWAITING MAKER TESTING
Let’s make something lovely.
- 01
Cut two matching 12 × 2-inch strips. Mark half-inch intervals along each strip without pressing through the paper.
- 02
Fold back and forth at the marks to make two accordion strips. Keep the folds parallel.
- 03
Overlap and glue one end of each strip together, then join the remaining ends to make a pleated ring. Hold seams with clips until secure.
- 04
Stand the ring on a table and gently push the upper edge inward so the pleats flatten into a circle. If it resists, check that the folds alternate evenly.
- 05
Glue a cardstock circle over the center on each side. Keep the rosette flat under a light object until the adhesive has dried according to its label.
- 06
Decorate the center with a drawn pumpkin face. Test the display adhesive on your chosen surface before attaching a small arrangement.
If the rosette keeps springing open, let the first center circle set fully before turning it over.
Make it personal
Mix one plain paper with one subtle pattern and repeat the same center-circle color.
