STARTER GUIDE · AWAITING MAKER TESTING

Let’s make something lovely.

  1. 01

Mark the long strip at three, six and nine inches. Score gently with a blunt tool and fold alternating directions into four panels.

  2. 02

Open and close the accordion to check that the folds move freely. Keep the folded edges clean and flat.

  3. 03

Arrange one small photo or note on each panel, leaving space near folds and edges. Use copies of irreplaceable photos.

  4. 04

Glue the photos or notes in place with an adhesive compatible with your prints. Let everything dry open.

  5. 05

Attach one cover to the back of each end panel, centered with a small border. Check the booklet closes without catching.

  6. 06

Add a title such as Four little moments. Write the year inside and a hopeful note for the next one.

A little helpful detail

Keep layers thin so the accordion closes without bulging.

Make it personal

Choose ordinary happy moments as well as big milestones.
