New Year · Manual die cutting
Starry little wish place cards
A folded place card with space for a name and a hopeful little note.

STARTER GUIDE · AWAITING MAKER TESTING
Let’s make something lovely.
- 01
Fold each four-inch square in half to make a four-inch-wide, two-inch-high tent card. Crease and check that it stands.
- 02
Cut one small star per card. Keep the shape broad and simple enough to attach securely.
- 03
Write a guest’s name on the front before adding decoration. Test the pen on a scrap and let the ink dry.
- 04
Glue the star to a top corner, keeping the fold clear so the card still opens. Allow the adhesive to set.
- 05
Inside, write an optional prompt such as “One little thing I hope to try.” Leave room for an answer.
- 06
Set the cards at the table and let guests know they can keep their note private, share it, or leave it blank.
Keep the decoration light so the card does not lean forward.
Make it personal
Use a different star color for each table, then invite guests to take their card home.
