Thanksgiving · Manual die cutting
Paper-leaf table branches
A small autumn centerpiece with paper leaves and notes of thanks.

STARTER GUIDE · AWAITING MAKER TESTING
Let’s make something lovely.
- 01
Choose a vase and arrange a few short craft branches. Keep the arrangement low enough for people across the table to see each other.
- 02
Cut six to ten leaves about two to three inches long. Use your die-cutting machine’s recommended plates, or sketch and hand-cut simple outlines.
- 03
Fold each leaf gently down its center to give it a little shape. Write a short thank-you or a name on one side.
- 04
Attach one leaf with a glue dot and check that it stays put. If it slips, choose a flatter contact point or a lighter paper.
- 05
Space the remaining leaves along the branches, leaving open areas so the display feels airy.
- 06
Check that the vase is stable and the arrangement does not crowd plates. Keep paper decorations clear of candles, heaters and food preparation areas.
An odd number of leaves often makes it easier to create an uneven, natural arrangement.
Make it personal
Use one leaf for each guest and invite them to take their note home.
